ROBIN LEVISON

Robin Levison is the Chairman and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Ignition Equity Partners.

He is a highly qualified business leader with a proven track record of success in the financial services, manufacturing resource sectors, both at a senior management and board level. A hallmark of his corporate career has been proven ability to successfully turnaround underperforming companies, significantly expand the scale and profitability of small cap ASX listed companies, and generate real value for shareholders.


Earlier in his career Robin held senior positions with KPMG, Barclays Bank and as a director with Merrill Lynch advised numerous listed companies in the areas of acquisition, capital raising and the listing process.


From 2005 – 2012 Robin oversaw the dramatic growth of the ASX listed company Industrea Limited (ASX:IDL) from a company with a market capitalisation of $2 million into a global leader of specialist mining products and services, which was ultimately acquired by US conglomerate General Electric Company (GE) for an enterprise value of $700 million. Following the acquisition and during the post-acquisition integration phase he served as GE Mining’s Global Director Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions.

Since 2013, Robin has focused on his corporate advisory business Ignition Equity Partners Pty Ltd, and in this capacity has taken significant equity stakes in number of ASX listed companies including PPK Group Ltd where he has overseen revitalised growth strategies for PPK in his capacity as Executive Chairman and continues to drive the growth of the company.

He has also made a large number of expansion capital investments in unlisted private companies in Australia, New Zealand and the USA.

Robin holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Queensland, is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
